Amelia looked at Ava Summers, "What are you standing around for, let's go."

Ava immediately got up and followed her out.
Today, Mr. Stanley had driven her over, and she didn't have her car. Standing by the curb and just about to hail a taxi, she heard a deep and familiar male voice coming from behind, "I'll take you guys."
Amelia abruptly turned around and saw the man, standing upright behind her. She instinctively took two steps back and then voiced her annoyance,
"Are you a ghost? Standing silently behind someone and scaring them like that!"
The man stood with his back to the light, his already dark and bottomless eyes looking even deeper, but his expression wasn't very clear. He repeated, "It's about to rain, I'll drive you."
