Daniel Cooper didn't answer her, but he smiled and kissed their chubby-faced son. "Be a good boy and take a bath with mommy first, daddy will come and join you soon."
Amelia rolled her eyes in her heart and muttered in a low voice, "How self-centered."
She took her son upstairs where the bedroom had an attached bathroom. Now the bathtub was filled with water, all set for the little guy's bath time.
Perhaps it was the curiosity aroused by the oversized bathtub, as the little one splashed like a frog in the water, looking excited without any sign of sleepiness.
Amelia squatted next to the bathtub and frowned, "You little spy, did you deliberately get me away from your dad, didn't you?"
"..."
The two-and-a-half-year-old didn't understand what a "spy" was, and his big round eyes stared blankly.
"Alright, alright, mommy won't say anything. Stop playing the innocent card."
Amelia then picked up the bubble bath for kids from the shelf, "Baby, shall we play with bubbles?"
