Lilian Parker was dressed neatly, not looking like she had just gotten up. She was either just back from the outside or specifically waiting for someone in the hallway.
The good mood disappeared instantly, and she was disgusted by such complicated emotional entanglements.
After meeting each other's eyes for a few seconds, Amelia reluctantly looked away and tried to walk past her.
Unexpectedly, Lilian stopped her and said, "Mrs. Cooper."
Amelia frowned, "What's up?"
"Mr. Hawkins said to call you Mrs. Cooper."
"So?"
Lilian seemed a bit surprised by Amelia's reaction, with no reply for a moment.
This woman clearly did not have a good relationship with Daniel Cooper, and yet she addressed Amelia as Mrs. Cooper without any dispute.
"If there's nothing, please move."
"I just wanted to ask how Mr. Cooper is doing?"
Amelia replied indifferently, "Miss Parker, is it appropriate for you to be so concerned about my husband in front of me?"
