Ruby Shane stood up and helped set up the small dining table. Nathan Taylor placed the insulated lunch boxes on the table one by one and opened the lids. He then laid out a pair of chopsticks for each person before saying, "Madam, Dr. Shane, please enjoy your meal at your leisure. I will be in the hallway if you need anything."
As Nathan was about to leave, he was stopped. "Wait a moment."
He turned around, respectfully asking, "Madam, how may I assist you?"
Amelia looked at the food on the table and asked nonchalantly, "Where is your master?"
Nathan replied, "Mr. Cooper went to the funeral home. He should be discussing the funeral arrangements with Mr. White."
"Call him back. I want him to have dinner with me."
Ruby Shane, "..."
Nathan, "..."
He doubted his ears.
So he tentatively asked again, "You want Mr. Cooper to come over and join you for dinner?"
Amelia didn't answer him directly but merely asked, "Is there a problem with that?"
