After a few seconds, Amelia raised her hand and removed her golf cap, nonchalantly revealing her gorgeous, unadorned face. Twinkling in her eyes was a hint of innocence as she blinked her clear, alluring eyes that were devoid of any makeup. She said, unapologetically, "It seems Mr. Cooper isn't quite satisfied with me as his golf partner. Perhaps I should just play with Mr. Harrison instead."
With that, she let go of the man's arm and turned to walk towards Mr. Harrison.
However, a warm and dry hand grabbed hers before she even had the chance to pull it completely away from his arm. A low, grating voice mumbled stubbornly, "No, I'm pretty satisfied."
Amelia raised an eyebrow. Indeed, men were selfish, not allowing things that once belonged to them to be touched by others, even when they themselves no longer wanted them.
As soon as Daniel said this, the few old men exchanged glances, their faces revealing expressions of 'that's close' and 'so it was true'.
