Mason Hawkins stopped the car, got out, walked over to Daniel Cooper, and circled around him.
Throughout the process, Daniel just stood there without speaking or moving.
Mason clucked his tongue, "Do you really have to act like an abandoned, trapped beast? Maybe Master Foster just said that to piss you off today because she's in a bad mood. Are you taking it seriously?"
Daniel shook his head, ignored him, opened the car door without saying a word, and slammed it shut with a bang.
Mason exaggeratedly covered his ears, "Hey, can you be gentle? I rented this car temporarily. Don't break the door off, or it might fling you out when I turn."
But Daniel didn't respond to his sarcastic joke and just lit a cigarette without looking up.
"Hey, do you know which idiom I thought of when I see you like this? The sky is falling."
"That's not an idiom, you illiterate." Daniel looked straight ahead suddenly, "Let's go."
