Benjamin White saw the situation and immediately tried to mediate. He grabbed Amelia's hand which was dialing the number and said with an apologetic smile, "Mr. Cooper, please don't mind. Miss Johnson just spoke without thinking because she was upset. You are a generous person, please don't be so petty with a woman."
"She was upset?" Daniel raised his eyebrow and chuckled, "She made up a bunch of things about me and pinned all these charges on me, shouldn't I be the one who is upset?"
Benjamin's smile stiffened for a moment, and after a few seconds he continued, "Mr. Cooper is right, it's all because Miss Johnson is too young and thoughtless."
He then lowered his head, looked at the woman in front and scolded her, "If you want to plead for your family's company, just plead properly. Why bring up all that nonsense? Do you want to plead or ruin your mother's business? Now apologize to Mr. Cooper quickly!"
