Gabriel White's face was full of doubt, "Your mother? Didn't she die from complications during childbirth?"
As the Coopers grew in prominence, the young and promising Mr. Cooper naturally became a hot topic. From his hobbies to his family background, everything was dug up, and the cause of his mother's death was no secret either.
Daniel Cooper nodded, "Everyone says that my mother died from complications when giving birth to me, but in fact, she was silenced because she accidentally overheard a secret about Mrs. White."
"You mean, your mother's death is related to Sophia Parker?" Gabriel's face showed disbelief, "Could you have made a mistake?"
How could someone who had been dead for over thirty years have anything to do with his wife?
This was simply absurd!
Daniel Cooper looked at his puzzled expression, and continued,
"Yes, that's why I investigated the Whites. I just didn't expect Mrs. White's secret to be Benjamin White."
