Olivia glared at her foolish brother with an "if you don't talk, no one will think you're mute" kind of expression and caught Amelia's hand to push her in front of Daniel, "Mr. Cooper, she's all yours now. Goodbye!"
Without waiting for Amelia to reply, she dragged Oliver into a taxi and drove off.
Amelia, "..."
Whose friend is she anyway?
The man wrapped his large hand around her shoulder, "Let's go home, and I will cook something delicious for you."
Amelia didn't want to talk to him and kept walking along the sidewalk.
Daniel jogged alongside her, "I know what you're upset about, but don't I deserve a chance to explain?"
Hearing this, Amelia got even angrier, so she stopped, "Then explain it to me now."
She was curious what he had to say.
Daniel glanced at the pedestrians coming and going around them and whispered, "There are too many people here, can we find a more private place?"
Amelia scoffed, "What are you hiding, Mr. Cooper?"
