Recalling what he said during dinner, Amelia's heart softened, and she went to the bathroom and washed up briefly. Instead of changing into her pajamas, she just wrapped herself in a towel and got back into bed.
Daniel Cooper was awakened by kisses, from his eyebrows, eyes to his nose and lips, tickled by each one. He opened his eyes in a daze, only to see a woman who looked like a water lily emerging from the water.
The wall lamp was still on, casting a soft glow on the woman's eyes, which shone brightly.
His originally somewhat bewildered mind instantly sobered up, and he immediately understood what she wanted to do. His body stiffened, and he did not dare to move.
Amelia noticed that he was awake, and bit him playfully, saying coquettishly, "Since you're awake, why are you still pretending to be a piece of wood?"
"..."
Daniel was very tempted to close his eyes and pretend to sleep, but his body had already betrayed him quite honestly.
