Perhaps it was because she had soaked in the water for too long, the woman's originally snow-white skin now exuded a faint pink hue, especially those bright and moist eyes that seemed slightly bewildered, making her look exceptionally vibrant.
She looked like an enchanting fairy who could steal one's soul away.
Daniel Cooper's adam's apple moved, and he pulled the quilt over to wrap her up before embracing her in his arms, "Close your eyes, and go back to sleep."
Then, like an obedient child, she closed her eyes, snuggled into his arms, and fell asleep again, as gentle as a tamed kitten.
It took a while for Daniel to suppress the fire in his body, whispering, "Little thing, you sure know how to wear me out."
He held the woman in the bed for a while, and when she was sound asleep, he quietly got up and went back to the study again.
