Seeing her finally calm down, Olivia breathed a sigh of relief and pulled Amelia towards the laboratory building, "Get changed first, or you'll catch a cold."
Heavy rain had soaked through both of their clothes.
Ten minutes later, they changed into dry clothes, and Olivia used a paper towel to wipe the water off her face and hair.
After giving her a cup of ginger tea, Olivia sat down next to her and cautiously asked, "Did you lose control earlier... because of the content in that USB drive?"
She had been sitting diagonally across from Amelia, overhearing the conversation between her and the man but not quite understanding.
Amelia held the hot tea, her wet black hair making her face look even paler, but her emotions had stabilized a lot, and she didn't want to hide it from Olivia, "Yeah, his father might... have something to do with my mom's death."
Olivia widened her eyes, "Do you mean... Mr. Cooper's father killed your mom?"
"Not exactly." Amelia only said three words.
