Mason Hawkins joked with him but still got up, walked over to the mini fridge, opened it, and took out two oranges. As he leisurely peeled the skin, he glanced at the man on the bed who looked frustrated and asked with schadenfreude in his voice, "What, has Master Foster been mistreating you?"
Daniel Cooper's mind instantly flashed to the scene of himself tied to the bed, and he involuntarily closed his eyes, his Adam's apple bobbing.
Seeing his expression, Mason chuckled and taunted slowly, "Master Foster, being kind-hearted, nearly sacrificed herself to save you. A person of such upright and noble character wouldn't bully a disabled individual without reason. Is it that you did something to annoy her?"
