Amelia sighed inwardly and said with a deadpan expression, "The water's gone cold, I'm going to change it."
He looked puzzled. "Then why did you cover me with the quilt?"
She replied impatiently, "It will take me several minutes to get water, do you want to be left airing out for a human exhibition or what?"
Daniel Cooper, "..."
Whatever she said was fine, as long as she continued to help him clean himself.
A few minutes later, Amelia came back with a fresh basin of water and continued cleaning him from where she had left off.
The man was lying at the edge of the bed, and she stood before him with a wrung-out hot towel in her hand. She looked at Daniel's handsome face and warned, "Daniel Cooper, if you strut again, I'll splash this water directly on you. The stitches are out, and the wound has almost healed, even if it gets wet, it won't have much of an impact."
Daniel Cooper raised an eyebrow, appearing unconcerned.
