Molly Moore greeted Daniel Cooper and even nodded towards them with her chin, as if to say, "See, I told you I was telling the truth."
Daniel Cooper didn't even glance at her, his eyes solely on Amelia, whispering, "I need to talk to Lilian Parker about something. Wait for me a moment, we'll leave together."
Amelia stepped aside to avoid his gaze, her face expressionless, "You don't need to give me a ride, I drove here."
Daniel Cooper flashed a smile, "But I didn't bring my car, so I thought of hitching a ride with you."
Amelia frowned in refusal, "Sorry, I'm not heading back to the Company, it's not on my way."
Even if it were on her way, she wouldn't take him, because she was in a bad mood now.
He claimed his heart had room for only her, yet as soon as he got off the plane, he couldn't wait to go see another woman.
Ha!
Daniel Cooper knew she wasn't happy, but he wasn't annoyed, still spoke in a deep voice, "It's okay, wherever you go, I'll follow. Wait for me."
