Amelia turned her head to look at Ava Summers, and sure enough, she saw a look of astonishment on Ava's face, which seemed to confirm that, in Ava's mind, Lilian Parker was indeed the one Mason Moore had cheated with.
Just then, the sound of footsteps suddenly came from the other end of the corridor, and Amelia quickly pulled Ava into the door beside them.
Ava's eyes widened in alarm, and she spoke in a voice only the two of them could hear, "What are you doing, this is the men's restroom."

Caught in a moment of desperation, she hadn't thought it through and now felt a bit awkward.
Luckily there was no one inside, so she feigned nonchalance and said, "It's fine, I know."

Once again, her perception of the genius girl was refreshed.
The door was not fully closed, and the two peered through the crack, looking out; upon seeing who it was, they exchanged a glance with each other.
