Amelia furrowed her brows and stared at Mason with a mocking look. "If you brought me and my child here just to witness all this, I've already seen it. So, please let go now, I don't want to let my child watch his father and another woman..."
"Amy!"
Daniel Cooper's voice cut her off, deep and heavy, "It's not what you think. Don't say such nonsense in front of the child."
"Hmph."
Amelia glanced at the man on the hospital bed whose face turned visibly worse, and then the woman standing awkwardly beside it. With a cold and sarcastic tone, she said, "I'm not thinking anything. I just believe in what I see."
After saying that, she forcefully shook off Mason's hand and turned around.
Daniel Cooper furrowed his brows, his face looking horrible and his eyes filled with anger as he glanced at the motionless man by the door. "Are you dead yet?"
Mason took off his glasses and wiped them, replying with indifference, "Not yet, but I'm close."
Almost enraged to death.
