Amelia finally let out a sigh of relief and served Madam White a bowl of soup, "Grandmother, have some. This is specially made ginseng chicken soup for you, nourishing your energy and blood."
Madam White took a sip with her spoon and suddenly thought of something, asking, "Oh, where's Snow White? How come I haven't seen her?"
Madam White didn't know about the incident that happened in the morning, and Amelia didn't plan to tell her. She replied with a smile, "Uncle kicked her out early in the morning. He said he had somebody pack up her stuff, told her to pick it up, and then stay away from the Whites forever to avoid angering you."
"Hmm," Madam White's face showed a look of approval, "Your uncle did a decent job on this. But that girl was also pitied for being played like a pawn. Tell your uncle to put some money in her account. She's been around for so long, and since I promised, I will give it to her."
Madam White was kind-hearted after all.
