Snow White was actually lying to deceive the other party because, not long after arriving at the Whites' residence, she fell ill with a high fever that lasted for over a week. After she recovered, she found that she had forgotten many things from her past.
She now even suspects that her illness was related to Sophia Parker, who might have deliberately drugged her to induce a high fever so that she could completely forget her previous memory.
