Daniel Cooper didn't expect Madam White to suddenly ask this question. He was slightly stunned for a second, then put down his chopsticks and humbly said, "You can call me Daniel."
Madam White didn't stand on ceremony and repeated her previous question, "Daniel, have you and my granddaughter, Amelia, gotten married yet?"
She was no fool and could tell that the two of them were probably living together already.
Daniel replied, "We're preparing to do so."
"So you haven't got married yet, right?"
Daniel realized there was more to be said and hesitated to nod, "Yes."
Although they weren't married yet, there was already a child.
Madam White nodded, this was easy to deal with now.
Perhaps it was the connection of blood that made her feel a special closeness to Amelia, even though they had just met for the first time today.
