Lana Parker was dumbfounded by her question for a second. "Didn't you see the person behind the bridge pier?"
"I saw them."
"Did you not recognize that person as Julian Cooper?"
"I did." Amelia said, a careless smile appeared on her face again, "But so what?"
Lana, "???"
Amelia turned the laptop ninety degrees so that both of them could see the screen clearly. She pointed to the bridge pier, "From this position, no one in the car would be able to see what's happening on the other side."
Lana snickered, "Are you trying to find an excuse for Julian Cooper, or are you trying to find an excuse for your own heart? Even if they couldn't see the accident from that angle, it's impossible not to hear the sound of the crash, right?"
That was also her inner thoughts. Every time she thought about the possibility that Julian might deliberately ignore the accident, she felt bone-chilling coldness, as if her blood vessels were frozen.
But she could not reveal these thoughts to Lana.
