Upon leaving the tea room, Daniel Cooper grabbed Amelia's wrist and asked with a smile, "Why are you walking so fast? Doesn't your foot hurt?"
Amelia angrily turned her head, "That was your brilliant idea, forcing me to come and acknowledge this relationship. Didn't you see? They didn't want to acknowledge me at all. They were questioning everything, the validity of the paternity test, even the authenticity of my face. They probably prefer me to be an opportunist seeking to take advantage of the situation. In that case, why should I bother acknowledging them?"
Daniel, "Calm down first; I know that you're upset. But Mr. White's actions can be understandable since this is concerning... "
"It's about the matter of blood relations, right?" Amelia scoffed, "If he really cared so much about blood connections, why would my mother always claim to be an orphan? Why didn't he attend my mother's funeral?"
