Amelia thought that after sleeping for several hours during the day, she would have trouble falling asleep at night. However, she had underestimated the hypnotic effects of the Bible, and had fallen asleep without realizing it.
When she suddenly woke up due to the wind, she found that the book had slipped from her hand and the pages were bent.
She quickly picked up the book, smoothed out the creases, and placed it properly. As she got up to go to the restroom and turned around unintentionally, she saw the man sleeping in a very uncomfortable position on that small folding bed.
He was still resting his head on his arm, his long legs sticking out at the foot of the bed. Nothing was under him or covering him, just wearing that shirt and suit pants, sleeping on the hard bed board.
Although he used to be a special forces soldier and had experienced hardships that ordinary people couldn't endure, sleeping on a hard bed shouldn't be an issue for him.
