The doctor left the examination room and thoughtfully closed the door behind him.
Amelia sat in the chair, looking up at the tall man with long legs standing in front of her, "Are we done tormenting me? Can I go back to rest now?"
As she finished speaking and began to rise, she wasn't able to stand completely before the man pressed her shoulders back down into the chair. Then he leaned forward, arms crossing over her shoulders and resting on the back of the chair, his posture as if encircling her within his arms.
A pair of eyes, dark as deep pools, stared intently at her, "Do you really have no intention of telling me about that man?"
Amelia couldn't help but laugh out of frustration, "I've said all that needs to be said, and you've done all the verifying you needed to. If you insist on being comfortable only after putting a green hat on yourself, then suit yourself."
