"How could you be so careless? Even drinking soup can scald you; didn't you know to blow on it first?" the man said as he quickly bent down to take a look, his eyes anxiously fixed on her lips, "How is it, are they burnt?"
Amelia deliberately wrinkled her face, pouting her lips, "Yes, it hurts a lot."
His gaze instantly grew more concerned, "I'll get some ice to apply on it right away; if that doesn't help, we'll go to the hospital."
No sooner had he finished speaking than Amelia quickly grabbed the collar of his shirt, and with a swift pull, she leaned in and kissed him.
The man's eyes widened slightly in a moment of surprise.
Before he could respond, Amelia had already let go of his collar, smiling with her eyes narrowed, "Now it doesn't hurt anymore."
He narrowed his eyes slightly and the next second, he firmly took hold of the back of her head and kissed her deeply.
