Chapter 1674
Chloe Collins hadn't snapped out of the news about her marriage and child; her eyes were glazed over.
She asked, "So do you not want to go home with us now?"
When Timmy Collins heard this, he stopped teasing Alex, his expression turning downcast.
She knew he was struggling with the decision.
"I know you've always wanted to live freely, and this place is your home, too," she said slowly, gradually convincing herself. Finally, she nodded: "I will come to see you often in the future, and you can use a phone. We can keep in touch through our mobiles."
She smiled faintly.
Timmy Collins didn't regain his prior energy and still looked morose, his eyes full of reluctance.
He gestured: I'll be your mountain to lean on; why don't you settle down here?
A certain man standing nearby shot a cold glare toward Timmy Collins.
Timmy Collins pulled a face at him.
This sweet but slightly bittersweet reunion was quickly interrupted by the arrival of James Cunningham and others.
