In the living room, Alexander Foster and Hans White sat down to a game of Go, while the several people around them didn't dare to breathe loudly.
After merely a short ten or so minutes, Alexander had already blocked Hans on multiple fronts, his momentum fierce.
Everyone in the Whites knew that Hans loved playing Go and was exceedingly proud of it, so it must have been something to have been dominated by a younger opponent.
Before long, the outcome of the game was clear.
Alexander won, predictably.
Hans drank some tea, his expression gloomy.
"Who did you learn to play Go from?" His eyes narrowed at Alexander, his gaze revealing an innate maliciousness.
Alexander answered unhurriedly, "I picked it up from a book when I was a reckless kid."
At his words, the two men assisting Hans were taken aback.
They believed that Alexander was effectively provoking a tiger on the verge of a rampage.
Sure enough, just as his words trailed off, Hans chuckled.
