Alexander cast a brief glance, a faint smile pulling at the corner of his mouth. "Mm, I know."
"When did you find out?" She sat up.
"Not long ago." His gaze remained fixed on the computer.
"Alexander." She frowned slightly, her hands tugging at his cheeks. "Tell me, did you plan this all along?"
He didn't resist, his face carrying an indulgent expression as though humoring a child's antics.
"Has business at the hotel improved significantly?" he asked.
Chloe let go of his face, squinting at him: "The cunning of a capitalist, truly horrifying."
