Logan Locke interrupted: "Miss Collins, what do you mean by this?"
Chloe Collins voiced her initial speculations.
Logan quickly retorted, "No! We have never shown Miss York's picture to Seventh Brother. He only saw her from afar once when they were kids."
Manie York lowered her eyes, evidently having thought of the same possibility.
The only meeting had been during their childhood, yet Liam recognised her instantly years later; this explanation couldn't hold water.
Unless, as Chloe Collins had guessed, the two had met again and something about that encounter had shocked Liam, prompting him to recognise her on sight.
She racked her brain for a long time, then shook her head: "I can't remember. Apart from seeing him as a kid and photos as I grew older, I really haven't seen him."
She looked at Chloe Collins: "Go ask him, only he knows. Let him tell us!"
After this was said, there was complete silence.
