She was about to go get the medicine, but her hand was caught by someone.
Turning around, Dean Collins had already looked up at her, his gaze soft and loving. "I'll have Bail deliver it to him."
Bail was his little companion, an Artificial Intelligence.
Soon, a plump little white creature about half a meter high rolled into the room. It had three antenna on top of its head, wobbling around adorably.
Even though Dean was usually silent, he'd programmed it to be quite talkative, always humming when making its appearance.
Chloe Collins put the food on the tray. As Bail was about to leave, suddenly, the tray was carrying an additional item – an electric toy dove.
