Robert gave an acknowledging sound and without much thought, said, "Did you smell something good?"
Wanda nodded, "It seems like someone is grilling meat."
"Do you want to eat it? I'll get it for you," said Robert.
Wanda saw his eagerness, so she went along and nodded.
"Alright, I'll go get it for you right now."
Robert quickly put on his clothes and went out.
Wanda sat quietly on the bed for a moment, her sorrowful eyes revealing her sadness.
She kept thinking about what Robert said: he doesn't like girls who lie.
She took a deep breath, turned her head, straightened Robert's quilt, and then sat back on the bed.
Just as she sat down, there was a knock on the door.
Thinking it was Robert unable to open the door, Wanda immediately got off the bed and walked over.
Even though her foot was bandaged, it didn't inconvenience her walking at all.
After opening the door, the smile on her face disappeared.
It wasn't Robert, but Robert's partner, Megan.
