Chapter 563
After leaving the airport, Raine Nolan and Vanessa Brooke got into the car sent by Rosalind Taylor and headed straight to the Collins family home.
In the car, Vanessa had an apologetic look on her face and said to Raine, "Raine, about the interview, it's my fault. I don't know how to explain this to your parents when we meet them later."
Raine managed an awkward smile, "It's alright, teacher."
Even so, her complexion wasn't good, and it was obvious that she still cared a lot about it.
Vanessa quickly explained, "I really don't know what happened. We were talking fine at first, but suddenly my neck hurt, and I passed out. When I woke up, the interview was over."
Raine didn't know if she was lying.
Were there really such strange things?
Perhaps she just couldn't do it, so she came up with a set of excuses to deceive her.
Thinking of this possibility, she didn't continue the conversation.
Vanessa sensed her low spirits and didn't know what else to say.
