About a few minutes later, he received a call from Charles Carrington instead of a message.
"Alex, you were right. Something happened to both of them."
Alex silently increased his speed.
"What's the situation?" he calmly asked.
The sound of Charles opening the car door came through, his breath slightly rushed.
"I tried calling her, but no one answered. So I checked the interior," he paused, his voice heavy. "Alex, don't be too worried; I believe Chloe Collins can protect herself."
Alex's expression became serious: "Tell me."
"When Chloe was taking a shower, Fishie left the room for a short while, and Charlotte Floyd's brother sneaked into the room. The camera shows him rushing into the bathroom and locking the door. There's no camera in the bathroom, so I don't know what's happening inside."
"Both kids don't have their phones on them, so I can't contact them. However, I've already sent someone nearby over. Don't worry too much."
