Most of the classmates had left the room, mainly to go to have lunch.
Layla Lowell had slipped away half a class earlier, saying she had to help her younger sister with something trivial.
In the quiet classroom, only a few people remained.
Chloe Collins was not hungry yet and not in a hurry to eat, so she decided to finish reading her comic book first.
Just then, a beautifully arranged lunchbox slowly moved in front of her.
She looked up to see Wanda Wesley's round and adorable face.
"Um, Chloe, thanks for helping me that day. This is a small token of my appreciation. I made this lunchbox myself. If you don't mind, please accept it."
As she spoke, she placed another one on Layla's desk: "This is for Lydia. Can you tell her for me?"
Having said that, she turned to leave.
"Thank you."
Chloe's gentle and pleasant voice surprised Wanda. She smiled, her lips slightly pursed, and walked out of the classroom.
