Chapter 238
Upon returning to his room, Charles Carrington smelled a strong milky fragrance, a little cool.
Just as he was puzzled, he noticed the mess on the table. Sweet sticky liquid had spread from the middle of the table in several thin streams, splashing on the floor, forming puddles.
Was that not... the gift that Chloe Collins had given him earlier?

He hadn't opened it to look because of that tacky fan ribbon and also because the race was starting soon.
Now, smelling the scent, it seemed like... ice cream!
He released the tie and took a look. Sure enough, it was a massive ice cream!
In the now melted ice cream, he could vaguely make out a shape that resembled him and a race car, along with a few words: Go for it, Charles!
He had mixed feelings.
Who was it that sent him such a big ice cream?
He looked at the slightly moist message card on the side.
