Chloe Collins looked at him, always feeling like at any second he would lose control and erupt in anger, letting loose his suppressed emotions.
Her eyes dropped slightly, looking casually at the necklace without picking it up.
"Such an expensive gift, are you trying to overwhelm me, Master Spence?"
Anders Spence: "A necklace suits a beauty best. Worn around your neck, it would not be wasted."
Chloe Collins lowered her eyes and slightly chuckled. The small curve at the corner of her lips was utterly inscrutable.
Just then, she said ambiguously, "What a pity, I seem incapable of enjoying such finery."
No one understood her words until they saw her glance towards the doorway, just as loud knocking noises were heard.
"Who could it be?" a beautiful woman ran to open the door.
Chloe Collins moved back to watch from the sides, like waiting for a show to start.
The door just opened and the beautiful woman came face-to-face with Raine Nolan outside.
