"Thirsty." She uttered a single word, as her hands fiddled with his ring.
"Alright, I'll get you some water."
He instinctively tried to pull his hand away, only to find it suddenly gripped tightly.
Turning to see the fear in Wanda Wesley's face, he understood.
"I'm not going anywhere, look, I'm just getting you some water."
He picked up a disposable cup nearby.
Wanda shook her head without speaking, her eyes still fixated on the ring on his hand.
Robert Foster had to operate single-handedly, thankfully his limbs were long enough that grabbing the kettle and pouring her a glass of water did not require much effort.
As he held the water to her lips, he noticed her nearly dunking her entire face into the cup. If it weren't for the cup's small size, her head would probably be squished inside.
Robert was amazed, he could not understand her way of drinking water, it was like...a small dog.
