Amelia Cobb's incessant chatter suddenly stopped as Christopher Robinson held her waist and put her on the cabinet by the door.
In an instant, he became the dominating one.
The atmosphere was heated in the midnight, the man's warm palm gently stroked Amelia's slender waist back and forth. The heat from his hand was like a spirit just warmed up, warming and soothing wherever it touched.
As they gasped heavily, Amelia gently pushed Mr. Robinson away, her breathless voice laced with restraint: "Stop seducing me."
The man hugged her, a sigh brushing against her ear, "My dear, who's seducing who here?"
Amelia, somewhat dazed from the kiss, leaned against Mr. Robinson's neck, panting.
The man gently kneaded her palm.
A few minutes later, presumably unable to resist the carnal desire, the man whispered softly, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience."
...
Inconvenience?
Indeed, it was quite so.
Amelia collapsed on the bed, Mr. Robinson wiping her palm with a warm towel.
