Perhaps because she knew from the beginning that this would be Nathan's reaction, Lydia wasn't too surprised.
She calmly turned around and walked into the bathroom to wash her hands.
Then, she opened a bathroom drawer, took out a lipstick, and applied it to her lips. In an instant, she looked radiant, her complexion returning to its previous state.
She put the lipstick back into the drawer with her slender fingers, then walked past Nathan with a proud stride, not saying a word but radiating an air of arrogance.
"I was just kidding. Why are you so tense?"
Nathan sneered: "You'd better be joking, because even if you were pregnant, I'd make you abort the child."
"What if the child isn't yours? You'd still want me to abort it?"
Lydia poured a glass of water and drank it slowly.
