Kallie Rayno has always unconditionally sided with Amelia Cobb. She would agree to whatever Amelia requested without asking too many questions.
Because of that, Amelia showed extra sympathy for Kallie.
"Your father has been close to Charlie Wood lately," Kallie informed her.
"Why?" The person leaned against the head of the bed slowly straightened her back.
"It seems that he wants your father to help him investigate something," Kallie said.
"The package?" Amelia asked in return.
Kallie's silence seemed to tell Amelia that she was right.
Since William Cobb was able to suppress the truth of his own death, it was natural for him to be able to help Charlie Wood investigate these matters.
Approaching him was indeed the right move for Charlie Wood.
"Amelia, is it you?" Kallie's voice trembled slightly.
Amelia nodded, "It's me."
She admitted frankly, but only silence answered her.
