Amelia Cobb continued to probe, "And is he not cruel to you? It's his mother who gave you kindness, not him. If anyone is to demand anything from you, it should be his mother, not him. If, because his mother once saved you, he now oppresses you, orders you around when he's happy, and abuses you when you're not, does he have any morality or conscience in mind?"
