Christopher Robinson tossed his phone to Isaac Fenton. Hesitant, Isaac reminded him, "Sir, today you are supposed to meet her."
Christopher usually picked up the child to see Madeline Carter. However, consumed by work, he had forgotten about it today.
Isaac suspected that the purpose of the call wasn't to inform Christopher of Madeline's illness but rather to remind Christopher of something. Just too happen in such an awkward situation.
Amelia Cobb had always been curious about the relationship between Christopher and Madeline. Others called him a dutiful son, yet in reality, they seemed to be sworn enemies.
"Tell her to behave, or we'll meet in hell," Christopher declared.
By the time they arrived at Orchard Garden, Christopher was seething with anger.
Slamming the car door, he startled Amelia.
"Did you eat gunpowder?" She asked.
"Who's that child? Are you sure he's not an illegitimate son?"
Isaac dared not respond.
