A group of big shots stared at Amelia Cobb lying on the other bed, exchanging glances, until finally Shaun Perkins took the initiative and said, "So... we'll leave the documents here and come back for them later."
Then they left, leaving the room to the two of them.
As soon as they were gone, the whispers outside drifted into the room.
Everyone was wildly puzzled, wondering, "Why are President Robinson and Miss Cobb in the same room?"
"Are they visiting each other?"
"I don't think so, Miss Cobb seems to have injured her hand as well," they guessed in hushed voices.
Amelia Cobb laid on the hospital bed, not totally awake yet, listening to this nonsensical whispering, which was not in line with the style of the Deputy General Manager of D&T.
Even so, she shouted towards the door, "You guys are being too loud."
Christopher Robinson, holding onto the files, looked over at Amelia Cobb.
