Christopher Robinson wanted to have Amelia Cobb under his control.
But the fact told him that the girl in front of him could no longer be simply described as being out of control. She had her own ideas and opinions, and most importantly, she knew which direction to take.
She was completely different from the confused college students of the time.
Amelia's words were undoubtedly a sarcastic jab at Christopher.
And Christopher?
He didn't get upset, probably because he had witnessed too many moments like this with Amelia.
He got used to it.
"Whether it's mine or I stole it, anything I set my eyes on isn't easy to let go of," he said.
Christopher was like an eagle, and Amelia, without a doubt, was the little rabbit in his grasp.
And Amelia?
She didn't care. With her current level, challenging Christopher was impossible. It's better to go with the flow and grow by sticking to Christopher like a tree.
Only when her wings are strong can she fly.
