"Is your past really that mysterious?" Sophia Jackson asked.
She didn't actually think he was very mysterious, just that whenever she looked into his eyes, it felt like he was hiding a lot of secrets, creating an inscrutable and enigmatic aura.
It was quite subtle.
And pretty intriguing.
Oliver Nelson slightly curved his lips, chuckling, "A secret wouldn't be a secret if it could be revealed to others."
So she was always an outsider.
"Tsk! I'm not even curious," Sophia retorted, annoyed, and got out of the car.
She turned around and walked away, wanting to go home and sleep as soon as possible because she was especially tired today.
Oliver reminded her from behind, "Don't be absent tomorrow."
Sophia left Oliver with her retreating figure without looking back, "Got it, you nagging old man."
Oliver Nelson: "…"
Was he really that nagging?
Oliver laughed and shook his head, then turned the steering wheel and drove back to the hotel.
After Sophia got home, she took a bath.
