Kaitlyn Lan: "Sophia Jackson?"
Sophia snapped back to reality: "Huh?"
Kaitlyn Lan reached out her hand to Sophia.
Sophia quickly handed her hand over, and Kaitlyn pulled her to sit down: "How is your injury healing?"
Sophia knew that Lyra's mother was concerned about her, otherwise, she wouldn't have rushed to see her immediately after learning about her gunshot wound.
She smiled brightly: "It's much better already, there's no problem at all."
"That's good." Kaitlyn finally felt a bit relieved after hearing Sophia's words.
Last night, her son told her it was a wound on the shoulder blade. She really wanted to see how well the wound healed with her own eyes, but she knew that would be inappropriate.
When Frank Smith entered, he didn't sit down but stood casually by the floor-to-ceiling window, admiring the view overlooking the Peony Palace. Sophia lived on a higher floor, while he lived on a lower one. She seemed to prefer staying at a higher place.
"Frank."
