Sophia Jackson suddenly embraced Frank.
Frank held her with one hand and the other hand, upon touching the skin he shouldn't, quickly moved away. He spoke with a calm voice, "There are people living nearby, please don't act like this. It's not appropriate."
Sophia didn't back away from Frank's embrace. She looked up at him. "I just couldn't sleep and wanted to feel the cool breeze."
Frank questioned, "Feeling a cold breeze at this time of year? Are you refreshed now?" The skin he had touched a moment before was ice-cold.
He had no doubt that she would catch a cold tomorrow.
But Sophia didn't seem to care.
Her arms slowly tightened around Frank's slender waist, "Frank, what would you have done if I had really fallen just now?"
Frank: "I would have given you a grand funeral."
Sophia's voice became much softer, "So you were wishing for my death? Then why did it seem like you were really worried just now?"
