"Why?" He asked why again.
Lyra simply pulled herself out of his embrace, but didn't manage to take half a step away before Gregory wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her back, imprisoning her in his arms, "Are you trying to avoid me?"
"No," she said, "It's just really warm when you hold me like this."
"You're telling me it's too warm in the middle of winter?"
"But there's central heating in here."
"I don't feel warm, I'm cold."
"..."
After spending two hours at the shooting club, Gregory took Lyra horseback riding.
Gregory kept a horse at the stable, but he rarely had time to visit. However, today, with Lyra accompanying him, he was in especially high spirits.
After horseback riding came car racing.
Lyra realized that all the activities Gregory had planned for her were quite thrilling.
From the shooting club, to the stable, and finally to the racetrack.
