"I've been good for a long time, no need to share the loot. Just take it and leave, goodbye." Gregory Smith called out for Erwin Jackson to leave, then turned around and walked back into the courtyard.
As he moved to close the iron gate, a hand extended in - it was Erwin's hand.
At this moment, Gregory should have stopped, pushing Erwin's hand away to avoid it being pinched by the closing gate.
But Gregory didn't do that; he pretended not to see and pulled the gate shut.
"Hiss—"
The hand was caught in the gap, and Erwin's face turned pale from the pain. Gregory showed an expression of belated realization: "Oh, did your hand get caught? Sorry."
Erwin retreated his hand and seemed to be in great pain: "It's okay."
Gregory laughed: "Are you sure it's okay?"
Erwin replied: "I'm sure it's okay."
Gregory's smile grew more merciless. But, after all, this was nothing compared to the cruelty the Smith family usually showed. It was too mild.
They were just getting started!
