Lyra wanted to go with them, but was pulled away by Gregory and Frank.
They went outside to get into a car.
Kaitlyn sat next to Lyra, while her two brothers went to another vehicle.
Soon after, her father also got into the car. The seats of the business car were separated, so there was no way for passengers to squeeze in together, so her father took the front seat.
"Let's get moving." Her father said.
The car slowly started and left Blue Water Celebrity Retreat.
During the drive, it was quiet in the car, and Lyra didn't say a word.
After a few minutes, the father, who hadn't dared to speak, cautiously asked, "Is my girl mad at me?"
Lyra quickly retorted, "No."
Her father gave a bitter smile, "I'm sorry, sweetheart, for upsetting you again."
Lyra was indeed upset.
But when she heard her father's words, her anger and sadness disappeared, leaving only self-blame: "Don't say that, dad. Uncle Morris knows that, and I know it too."
